Qualitative Research on the Work Experience of Non-Regular Social Workers

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of non-regular workers and to improve their problems. According to the purpose of the study, We interviewed 6 non-regular social workers and tried to find out the difficulties they experienced in social welfare practice. Using a qualitative research method, data was collected and analysed. As a result of analysis, 5 main topics and 13 sub-topics were derived. The main topics were identified as ¡®Mirage not caught¡¯, ¡®lead a tough life¡¯, ¡®Start with relationship and end with relationship¡¯, ¡®Become aware of the reality of the social welfare field¡¯, ¡®hover around¡¯. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the efforts of the government and social welfare organizations are needed to secure the employment stability of non-regular workers and improve working conditions. And suggests the organizational culture of leadership development of social welfare organizations and non-regular workers social workers. It is meaningful that this research has specifically explored the work experience of non-regular workers.
